United Way Workplace Awards Luncheon Recognizes Outstanding Volunteers & Organizations
What: Every year, United Way recognizes workplaces for their campaign achievements. This year, workplace award winners will be receiving their awards on Thursday, April 24, at the Delta Waterfront Kingston.
In 2013, the United Way of KFL&A Campaign raised $3,453,725 through the hard work, dedication and leadership of our community members. Last year, Correctional Service Canada gave the United Way an opportunity to offer public tours of Kingston Penitentiary. The tours contributed an additional $171,540 for a grand total of $3.6 million.
Thanks to the support and commitment of local work, resources and valuable assistance will continue to be available for individuals and families in our community who need it the most.
When: Thursday, April 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Where: Grandview Room, Delta Kingston Waterfront Hotel, 1 Johnson Street Kingston
