United Way Celebrates Success By 6
The United Way and staff from Western Landscape Services joined forces in Market Square this morning.
Parents and toddlers learned about trees and vegetation and their importance to the environment. It’s all part of the United Way’s Success By 6 Week campaign. The week includes 140 free or low cost events and is aimed at children and their families.
Kim Hockey: “We know that if we can focus on children when they’re young, that certainly pays off in the end to make sure that we have children that are strong and healthy and they have lots of good self esteem and lots of skills to take them into the future.”
