United Way announces $3.35million goal
Members of the local media including Kingston This Week multimedia reporter Katrina Geenevasen (5th from left) and next to her Mike Dwyer, Sunmedia Kingston and Whig Standard multimedia account executive, digital and print marketing and events, were on hand to announce the $3.35 million fundraising goal for the United Way KFL&A during the kick-off breakfast Sept. 11 at the Ambassador Conference Resort. More than 400 workplaces will run United Way campaigns over the next 11 weeks, with the help of more than 2,000 volunteers. The 2012 Campaign wraps on Thursday, Nov. 29, during the Campaign Touchdown Breakfast at the Ambassador Conference Resort.
