On February 9th, United Way Next Gen hosted a black-and-white attire Masquerade at the Renaissance Event Venue. Masquerade is a fundraising event, organized and run by volunteers from the United Way Next Gen initiative. Volunteers provided attendees with masks. Guests on the upper level were seen dancing up a storm, thanks to DJ Don Leblanc from Sound on Sound Productions. The Downtown Trio serenaded guests on the lower level with their mix of jazz, blues and funk. Appetizers and cocktails were available for guests. The organizers were successful in creating an atmosphere of fun and intrigue.
