A Fundraiser and Flair Bartending Competition at Jack Astor’s
Drinks had a little extra flair at Jack Astor’s tonight as the Kingston restaurant raised a glass and funds for the United Way.
The bartending competition saw half a dozen drink slingers toss, throw and pour for the charitable organization that gives back to the KFL&A community.
The drinks were auctioned off to the highest bidder with some cocktails going for as much as 60 dollars a drink.
Over one hundred people came out to support the inaugural flair competition.
Nate Lollar, General Manager, Jack Astor’s Kingston:
“We really felt that United Way has a large reach and we know that they do a lot of great work around the community. There are so many great charities here in Kingston but we really felt that the United Way was one where the proceeds would help them tremendously.”
