We’d like to introduce you to the people who work every day to make a difference in our community, to share the stories of those whose lives have been changed and to show you the impact of your gift to United Way.
What: The Seeing is Believing bus tour provides volunteers and media partners with an opportunity to see first-hand where their donations go as they visit local agencies and programs, and meet the front line workers and recipients of services.
When: Wednesday, September 3, 2014, 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. This year, as an added feature, lunch will be served at Outreach St. George’s Kingston. Tour guests will experience the same lunch as the clients.
Where: Board the bus at the Memorial Centre, 303 York Street
Who: United Way volunteers and media partners. The bus tour is sponsored by Kingston Transit.
How: There is no charge for this unique opportunity. Please register in advance by calling 613-542-2674 or emailing campaign@unitedwaykfla.ca.
