Seeing is Believing tours are back! This is your opportunity to visit agencies and hear first-hand how your donation impacts local lives.

The first tour is Wednesday, September 25th, and the second tour on October 29th will visit the same agencies so you just need to pick the date that works best. There is no charge for this very special opportunity.

First Tour details:
Date: Wednesday, September 25th, 2024 
Timing: 9:30 am to 1 pm.
The bus arrives at Memorial Centre at 9:20 am

This tour will include visits to: 
Elizabeth Fry Society Kington
Kingston Community Health Centres (KCHC) – several programs will be visited and discussed
Community Food Redistribution Warehouse (CFRW) – speakers from Lionhearts Inc., Food Sharing Project and a tour of the space

Once you are registered, you will receive more information about the starting point, lunch, and agencies you will visit.

The second tour will take place on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024

United Way of KFL&A would like to acknowledge this traditional territory’s longer existence and its significance for the Indigenous people who lived and continue to live on Turtle Island.

We are situated on traditional Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and Huron-Wendat land. There are Métis and other non-status First People from many Indigenous Nations present in our community today. This acknowledgement symbolizes the United Way KFL&A’s first step, of many, along this path toward Indigenous reconciliation, in a respectful manner.
