Highlights from the Week

$2 million!

Last week, the campaign surpassed 50 % of this year’s goal and this week it topped $2 million thanks to the incredible KFL&A community

Thank you to all the amazing volunteers, workplaces, cabinet members and donors for showing your #locallove

Wonderful to see KFL&A continue to come together to support friends, family, neighbours and more. And thank you to all the amazing agencies, their teams and frontline workers for continuing to support the community in these challenging times.

Winter Clothing Drive

As temperatures drop and winter approaches, coats and warm clothing become a necessity. Many community members rely on donated items to help them keep warm and this year, United Way KFL&A is hoping the community can help once again.

Workplaces and community members are asked to donate clean, new or gently used coats and boots (coats must be washable only; no leather or heavy wool) and new accessories including new hatsmittsscarves and socks. Items can be dropped off to collection bins throughout KFL&A from October 25 – November 5.
