Highlights from the Week

City of Kingston t-shirt days
Shout out to City of Kingston – Municipal Government – yesterday they started their Jersey and concert t-shirt days, encouraging staff to donate to United Way and wear their favourite shirt to the office or at home. Maggs was excited to show her support! Looking forward to seeing more photos, although they may not be nearly as cute! Thanks for the #locallove and support!

Kindness Cards
Sending a big thank you to Mia Lockhart! Mia has generously donated the proceeds from her beautiful handmade thank you cards to the United Way of Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington to help the most vulnerable members of our community.
Thank you so much for the #locallove, Mia, you are truly an inspiration in the community during this challenging time!

Correctional Service of Canada Thanksgiving giveaway
Another shout out to the team at Correctional Service of Canada. Last week they had a generous employee, Tom Tinney, donate a beautiful charcuterie board to their campaign. Their team used it as incentive to encourage others to get their donations in early and enter a draw and Elizabeth Wheeler was the lucky winner! She received the board and some treats just in time for #thanksgiving. What a great idea! Thanks so much for the #locallove and support!
