Upcoming Workshops

EDI & Workplace Conflict: A Risk Perspective
Date: September 18, 2024, 5:30-7:30pm
Facilitator: Jennifer Mak, J. Mak Consulting
Location: Virtual via Zoom

The connection between EDI and workplace conflict, specifically harassment, discrimination, and violence, is often overlooked, as EDI is commonly regarded as a “nice-to-have”. This oversight can increase the risk of health and safety issues, financial costs, and legal repercussions. Having EDI and human rights embedded into an organization’s policies, procedures, processes, practices, and programs will help manage risk by preventing workplace conflict and, ultimately, eliminating systemic barriers.

Join us for an information session on how EDI and human rights are essential tools to prevent workplace conflict and manage associated risks.
