Success By 6 | Stay Safe and Play
United Way Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington’s annual Success By 6 week is an event many in the community look forward to each year. The week offers free fun-filled activities across the region for families and children, however, given the current situation with COVID-19 and with public health in mind, the decision has been made to cancel in-person activities this year.
But don’t worry, just because group activities aren’t offered doesn’t mean you can’t continue to have fun and learn! In the coming weeks, check back here for ideas on how to engage with your kids and keep them active through online and home activities.
These activities will help you and your little ones learn and play while you stay safe and healthy. Learn about crafts, educational activities, virtual museum tours, reading tutorials and more. All activities will be aimed at engaging young children and their families and having fun together – with social distancing in mind – in tune with the message of “Take the time, make the moments matter™”
About Success By 6
Success By 6 is based on the idea that it takes a village to raise a child and that we all have a role to play in ensuring that every child has a chance to succeed early in life. By investing in young children, their parents and caregivers, we dramatically increase our children’s chances for a healthy and successful future. Take the time, make the moments matter.
