Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie campaign returns Nov. 17-23 with local proceeds donated to United Way KFL&A

100 per cent of proceeds will be donated to local charities and community groups across Canada, including Tim Hortons Foundation Camps

Kingston, ON (November 12, 2025) – Tim Hortons 3rd annual Holiday Smile Cookie campaign is returning from November 17 to 23 with 100 per cent of proceeds donated to local charities and community groups, including Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.

Here in Kingston, the Holiday Smile Cookie will once again support United Way Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington.

“On behalf of the local Tim Hortons locations, we were thrilled to once again choose the United Way KFL&A as our charity for the Holiday Smile Cookie Campaign,” said Sherri Agnew, local Tim Hortons owner. “We know that the United Way focuses on helping our community members by funding programs and local agencies, and we are pleased to support the important work that they do to support individuals and families locally.”

Last year, Tims guests helped raise $10.7 million through the Holiday Smile Cookie campaign, spreading kindness and supporting local charities and community groups across the country, including Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.

“Smile Cookie weeks are always an exciting time and special thanks to our team members in the stores for all their dedication and hard work to make these weeks successful and helping to support their community,” added Kylee Moore, local Tim Hortons owner. “We hope people will come out again, buy cookies, and spread kindness this holiday season – all in support of a great cause!”

The Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie is a delicious white chocolate sugar cookie infused with red and green sprinkles and hand-decorated with a white icing smile face. Cookies are $2 and will be available at stores across Kingston with proceeds supporting this year’s United Way campaign as it heads into the final weeks with a goal of $4,085,000.

“United Way KFL&A is so excited to have the Holiday Smile Cookie Campaign back again this year,” said 2025 Campaign Chair Leanne O’Mara. “We have no doubt that workplaces, organizations and community members will show their support again this year by purchasing cookies. We are in the home stretch of this year’s campaign and our community continues to amaze us with their generosity as we work together to reach our goal.”

Last year, over 68,000 people were helped through United Way funded programs and agencies including community members and families facing poverty, food insecurity, mental illness, addictions, family crisis and homelessness. Funds raised through the Holiday Smile Cookie campaign will help United Way KFL&A continue this important work, but these dollars would not be possible without the support of the local Tim Hortons owners.

“We are fortunate to have local owners who are involved with the United Way and want to get involved to help our community members here in Kingston,” said John DiPaolo, President and CEO, United Way KFL&A. “Special thanks to the owners, staff and volunteers working to make this year another Holiday Smile Cookie success. Their support is helping to change our tomorrow, today.”
