This foundational governance workshop is designed for board members, executive directors, and organizational leaders seeking to strengthen governance practices and board effectiveness. Participants will explore governance versus management, board structures, financial oversight, accountability, CEO evaluation, and strategies for keeping boards focused on governance and long-term impact.
Facilitated by Bhavana Varma, OOnt, governance and strategy consultant and former President & CEO of United Way KFL&A, this session combines practical governance knowledge with over three decades of nonprofit leadership experience.
