This workshop examines accessibility through a human rights and equity-informed lens, helping leaders better understand legislative responsibilities, accommodation requirements, barrier-free practices, and the impacts of inaccessibility and discrimination.
Facilitated by Jennifer Mak, Human Rights and Equity Strategist with more than 15 years of experience in workplace equity, harassment prevention, and organizational change, this session provides practical insights for creating more inclusive environments.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of accessibility, accommodations, and strategies for building workplaces and services that support meaningful participation for everyone.
