Many strategic plans are built for stability, yet today’s nonprofit environment requires organizations to adapt to changing needs, shifting resources, and ongoing uncertainty.

This practical workshop explores strategy as an ongoing process of making informed choices rather than a single planning exercise. Participants will learn how to establish priorities, navigate uncertainty, define decision-making boundaries, and use practical tools such as decision rules, sequenced actions, and small-scale experiments.

Facilitated by Rob Wood, President & CEO of 8020Info, this session draws on more than two decades of experience supporting nonprofit and public sector organizations with strategy, governance, communications, and change management.

Participants will leave with practical frameworks and tools to support stronger decision-making and more adaptive strategic leadership.
