Kingston Health Sciences Centre (HDH & KGH Sites)

Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC) is southeastern Ontario’s centre for complex, acute and specialty care, research and teaching. KHSC serves almost 500,000 people who live in a 20,000-square-kilometre predominantly rural area, as well as some communities on James Bay in Ontario’s north.

Volunteers at the Kingston General Hospital site and Hotel Dieu Hospital site of Kingston Health Sciences Centre contribute 90,000 hours a year in 80 programs, services, departments and units and help raise close to three-quarters-of-a-million dollars annually toward the purchase of equipment and patient comfort items.

Our volunteer team includes high school, post-secondary, and grad students, adults, and therapy dogs and we offer opportunities to suit a variety of interests, skill levels and schedules.
