United Way Next Gen

Introducing United Way Next Gen!
The United Way presents you with a new and invigorating way to be involved in the community!  Next Gen is a fantastic way to engage our young professionals (25 to 40) in our community.  You and your peers are future leaders not only for our workplaces, but in our community and we want you!  The Future Starts Today.

What is Next Gen?
United Way Next Gen is a new initiative in the KFL&A area focused on developing a community of younger stakeholders, ages 25 to 40, and encouraging them to invest their time, energy and money in the community through the United Way.

Next Gen was started with the intent to engage the members of this group early in life by building a base of future supporters, volunteers and community leaders.  This initiative creates opportunities for future leaders to participate in the community and empowers them to support and advance the impact of the United Way in the local community.

The Next Gen movement is a unique opportunity for the next generation to become an integral part of our community and bring about change in areas that are meaningful.

Who can be part of Next Gen?
Enthusiastic and energetic individuals who:
- want to get involved in our community, but don’t know where to start
- want to be the first to hear about the best charity events in the city
- want to be in the know about what’s going on in our community
- want to meet and be inspired by young philanthropists in our city

What’s Next?
United Way Next Gen initiatives have been up and running in different communities across Canada and have positively impacted those who live and work there.

Those interested in becoming part of the Next Gen movement are invited to contact the United Way office at 613-542-2674 or email admin@unitedwaykfla.ca.
